Dr. Whitfield joined Northstar in 2012 after four years in a busy community health center, where he treated more dental emergencies in a week than many dentists see in a month.
He leads our same-day crown program and performs most of the practice's root canals. Patients who arrive nervous tend to leave talking about how little they felt.
Outside the office: Coaches youth basketball in Homewood and never misses a Steelers home game.
