Our digital sensors use a fraction of the radiation of film x-rays. A set of bitewings is roughly equal to the natural background radiation you receive in a single day.
Cone beam CT creates a 3D view of teeth, bone and nerves. We use it to plan implants, assess root canal anatomy and evaluate some jaw concerns.
Many crowns are designed and milled in our office the same day. Some cases, such as layered veneers, are still made by a local Pittsburgh lab.
